Summary Judgment, Dismissal for Employment Discrimination Lawsuit

Laura E. Kruse and Lori W Hurl won summary judgment resulting in complete dismissal of an employment discrimination lawsuit. The plaintiff, a valet driver, filed a lawsuit for disparate treatment and retaliation and sought $1,000,000 in damages against his former employer. The court agreed with the defendant, that plaintiff’s allegations were based on inference, not fact, and thus complete dismissal was warranted.
