Litigation Legal Assistant

We are searching for an experienced litigation legal secretary (minimum of 3-5yrs) to work with a busy team on a variety of civil litigation matters in our Seattle office.

This position needs an organized self-starter who is able to multi-task and is familiar with various areas of law including but not limited to construction defect, professional liability defense matters, business and commercial litigation, professional negligence, personal injury, coverage and premises liability.

The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience including case management, scheduling, calendaring, document production and filings (State and Federal). Must be able to meet strict court deadlines in a fast paced environment and will be experienced in handling confidential internal matters.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a minimum of three to five years litigation legal secretarial experience, along with excellent organizational skills, superior attention to detail, and an ability and desire to work as part of a team as well as work independently. The fast pace of the desk requires someone with energy, sound judgment, and experience in managing rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.

 

Paralegal - General/Medical Malpractice

We are searching for an experienced medical malpractice/general litigation paralegal to join our fast paced team of trial lawyers. 

This position needs an organized self-starter who is able to multi-task and is familiar with various areas of law including but not limited to medical malpractice and personal injury. Responsibilities include case management, drafting pleadings/discovery, investigation, interviewing witnesses/experts, document reviews, collecting, analyzing and summarizing records, trial preparation and research.

The Ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of litigation experience (preferably 1-2 years of experience in medical malpractice), paralegal degree/certificate and a working knowledge of state and federal civil rules.
